Please read all parts of the General Terms & Conditions carefully and make sure that you understand the terms before placing your order for our Subscription Services on our website. These General Terms & Conditions set out the terms you need to comply with when using our Subscription Services and provide you with information about our Subscription Services.
By agreeing to the General Terms & Conditions, you confirm that you agree to and wish to be legally bound by its terms. If you do not agree to the General Terms, do not agree to them, and do not place your order on our website. You should retain a copy of these General Terms & Conditions for future reference.

Drive Fuze reserves the right to change its General Terms & Conditions from time to time, the most current version can be accessed on the website.

What we do
Drive Fuze offers a vehicle subscription service which is an alternative to traditional leasing and purchasing of a vehicle. Drive Fuze offers vehicle subscription through an easy monthly payment process.
Drive Fuze vehicle subscription
The Drive Fuze vehicle monthly subscription includes the vehicle, fully comprehensive insurance, national breakdown cover, Road Fund Licence, First Registration Fee, MOTs, servicing and maintenance.
The Drive Fuze vehicle subscription allows one named additional driver under the Subscription Agreement.
Optional extras include additional mileage packages which you can choose to add to your subscription when placing your order on our website at www.drivefuze.com.
We display a range of vehicles and depending on the availability of the car, we either display actual images or images that are for illustrative purposes only. Your vehicle may vary slightly from those pictures.
Prices are subject to change and availability. We are continually improving and updating our website and we reserve the right to permanently or temporarily alter content without notice.
By agreeing to the General Terms and Conditions, you are agreeing to use the Drive Fuze subscription service as per the conditions and agreements set out in this document. Agreeing to this document does not mean you have entered into a subscription agreement with Drive Fuze. You will only have entered into a subscription agreement with us once you have successfully passed the Drive Fuze eligibility checks and signed the Drive Fuze Subscription Agreement.
By agreeing to these terms you are also agreeing to the terms that cover the Initial Payment. The Initial Upfront Payment is fully refundable and will be held until your subscription order is confirmed.
By agreeing to these terms you are also agreeing that any Additional Driver identified through the application process has been notified of these terms and conditions and you are agreeing on their behalf.
Why are the General Terms & Conditions different from the Subscription Agreement?
The initial payment includes:
1. An upfront monthly subscription
2. Any vehicle delivery costs (if they apply).
3. An administration fee (if they apply).
Cancelation prior to the subscription start date
You may choose to cancel your subscription prior to the Subscription Start Date. How much of a refund you receives when cancelling a subscription depends on how far in advance of the Subscription Start Date you cancel the subscription.
If at any point before the Subscription Start Date, you can cancel the subscription, the Initial Payment paid in advance will be refunded (refunds can take up to 10 working days to appear in your bank account). Drive Fuze shall retain £100 as a cancellation charge to cover the vehicle administration cost.
If the Subscription Start Date has begun and you have accepted the vehicle upon delivery by signing the handover and delivery document, and you have already paid the Monthly Subscription Fee and Initial Payment in advance. The refund of the Monthly Subscription Fee and Initial Payment will not apply.
If the Subscription Start Date has begun and the driver rejects the vehicle by not signing the handover and delivery document and does not choose to use the Service, then a refund of the Fees paid will apply. Drive Fuze shall retain £100 as a cancellation charge to cover the vehicle administration cost.
After the first monthly subscription, a 14-day notice period shall apply should you choose to cancel or switch the vehicle before the next rolling contract renewal date. If adequate notice is not given to Drive Fuze, and the subscription rolls over into the next billable month, you will be liable to pay for the full billable month whether or not the Vehicle is returned either within or at the end of the new billable month.
Drive Fuze may cancel a subscription prior to the Subscription Start Date where reasonably required (for example, if an unforeseen Vehicle fault arises, or if the availability of the Vehicle changes) by notifying you at any point prior to the subscription start date, as the parties may agree, and any overpayments in relation to the Subscription Fee, and other amounts paid shall be refunded in full to the Driver.
These General Terms and Conditions cover how Drive Fuze will manage the vehicle subscription and additional services. They form part of your Subscription Agreement, but do not form your Subscription Agreement on their own.
The Subscription Agreement is not included within these General Terms and forms a separate agreement which you will sign separately following the successful passing of the eligibility checks.
The vehicle is for private use only which includes commuting to work. You and any additional named driver must not:
1. use the Vehicle to transport any hazardous, toxic, flammable, corrosive, radioactive, harmful, dangerous or illegal materials; or
2. use the Vehicle for any illegal purpose or any purpose or any manner which would not be covered by the insurance and/or would invalidate the insurance; or
3. use the vehicle for any illegal purpose, or any purpose or any manner that could be deemed harmful to the business or reputation of Drive Fuze. This includes the Vehicle or Driver being part of a police investigation. Drive Fuze reserve the right to terminate the subscription until the investigation is over, and depending on the verdict, remove the driver from the Drive Fuze platform; or
4. use the Vehicle off-road, or for racing, pace making, testing the Vehicle’s reliability and speed, or teaching someone to drive; or
5. use the Vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs. This will result in the Driver’s insurance becoming invalid;
6. or smoke inside the vehicle; or
7. carry a number of passengers and/or baggage which would cause the Vehicle to be overloaded (and operate the Vehicle otherwise than in accordance with the owner’s manual for the Vehicle); or - in the case of a commercial vehicle - carry a carrier payload which exceeds the maximum payload and individual axle plated weights, or for a purpose which requires an operator’s licence where the Driver (or Named Driver as applicable) does not have one; or
8. drive the Vehicle outside the United Kingdom unless Drive Fuze has given the Driver written permission in advance; or
9. use the Vehicle for hire and reward.
The vehicle must be driven within the UK, for an additional cost, insurance cover can be provided if you wish to take the Vehicle into the EU. The additional cost will be cost dependent on the length of time outside the UK.
You may only use our Subscription Services if you meet our eligibility criteria, you must:
1. have registered for an account on our website; and
2. be at least 25 years of age and not over 74 years and 6 months; and
3. live in the UK at an address where the vehicle will be kept for the duration of your subscription; and
4. not work in the sports, entertainment/theatrical, racing or gambling industries
5. have held a UK driving license for more than one year; and
6. have had no driving disqualifications in 5 years; and
7. have had no driving offence codes; and
8. have had no insurance cancelled or refused; and
9. have no more than 6 points on your driving license; and
10. have no more than 1 CCJ; and
11. have no more than 1 fault claim within the last 3 years; and
12. have passed our identity and credit checks and have been approved by the Drive Fuze team; and
13. have agreed to the General Terms & Conditions
Acceptance of the Driver’s registration application is subject to approval by Drive Fuze at its sole discretion. An application may be denied based upon additional criteria established from time to time by Drive Fuze and its insurance providers.
To ensure you meet our eligibility criteria and to ensure you are getting the right subscription offer, we will use the data provided in your application to verify your eligibility from a variety of sources. This includes credit reference agencies and other external organisations which will also help protect Drive Fuze from fraud. We will use this information to verify your identity and ensure the vehicle subscription payment is right for you.
We will look for things like CCJs (county court judgements for debt), bankruptcies, insolvencies, and credit searches by debt collection agencies. With that information, we’ll be able to make an affordability assessment.
Though not a hard credit check, a record of our search will be left in your history, but it will not affect your credit rating.
For the duration of the Subscription Agreement, Drive Fuze will monitor a Driver’s continued compliance with the Driver eligibility criteria. Drive Fuze may ask a Driver for a DVLA check code in order access the Driver’s DVLA record. Drive Fuze may also conduct a DVLA check in the instance Drive Fuze is made aware of an offence that gives Drive Fuze reasonable cause to undertake an additional DVLA check.
Additional named driver
One additional named driver can be added to the Vehicle Subscription agreement in addition to the primary driver. The additional driver must:
1. Live at the same address as the primary driver
2. Meet the eligibility criteria
3. Complete the eligibility checks
As the primary driver, you are also agreeing that the Additional Driver identified through the application process has been notified of these terms and conditions, the Subscription Hire Agreement when presented and you are agreeing on their behalf.
How we use your personal data
The Credit Reference Agency (CRA) searches that Drive Fuze make will leave a search footprint, both on your record and on your credit file at the CRA. Though not a hard credit check, a record of our search will be left in your history, but it will not affect your credit rating.
Some searches may appear on your credit report whether or not you choose to subscribe from us.
The CRA’s require us to explain that they have privacy notices available on their websites. What they do with the personal information is explained in the Credit Reference Agencies Information Document (CRAIN) and it is on the Experian website. https://www.experian.co.uk/legal/crain
Drive Fuze may, at its sole discretion, install a telematics solution in the Vehicle at Drive Fuze's own cost. Telematics allows Drive Fuze to GPS track Vehicles as well as extract mileage, fuel level, acceleration, maintenance, carbon footprint and braking data, as well as remotely lock / unlock or immobilise Vehicles. By using the Vehicle, the Driver consents to the collection of such data and should refer to the Telematics Terms and Conditions for more information.
Drive Fuze will also share your information with U K Insurance Business Solutions Limited and U K Insurance Limited who administer and underwrite the insurance of your subscription.
DriveFuze has arranged its motor insurance for consumer vehicles through Churchill Expert which is a trading name of U K Insurance Business Solutions Limited, an insurance intermediary who introduces customers to NIG policies underwritten by U K Insurance Limited.
The policy covers you and an additional named driver, it is comprehensive and covers losses to third parties as well as the insured vehicle.
The policy provides coverage for accidental damage, fire & theft and third-party liability claims. The insurance cover will be stated in your Subscription Agreement and the details of the policy and insurance key facts document will be sent to you on booking confirmation and can also be found in your Drive Fuze account.
For an additional cost, insurance cover can be provided by NIG if you want to take the Vehicle into the EU. The additional cost will be cost dependent on the length of time outside the UK. You should contact email@example.com if there are any questions in relation to the insurance policy.
You will be responsible for paying any insurance excess for each and every loss. You will also be responsible for excess for replacement windows and windscreen.
